Sydney Water Wastewater main upgrade: Redman Parade & Belmore Sports Ground
Sydney Water will be installing a new wastewater main from Redman Parade adjacent to Belmore Sports Ground.
How works may affect you
The works require the full closure of Redman Parade adjacent to Nos. 5 and 6 Redman Parade. Detours will be in place during the closure.
Works are commencing in July 2025 and are expected to be completed in January 2026.
They have advised works are being undertaken as future growth needs require an increase in wastewater capacity.
Sydney Water has been consulting affected residents in the vicinity of the works and have also consulted with the Bulldogs
Council will continue to design and procure the Hall/Redman/Lark footpath project adopted in the 25/26 Capital Works program which will assist in alleviating overland flow from the smaller storm events. Unfortunately, works will not be able to start until Sydney Water have completed their works in early 2026. We will keep residents informed on Council’s progress during this period. For the larger storm events, flood mitigation measures will continue to be investigated.
