Uranus Road just west of the Shirley Street intersection to Hydrea Street will be closed.
There will be detours in place during the major road closure and changed traffic conditions with heavy vehicles and more trucks passing through the area. Every effort will be taken to ensure road safety and traffic flow is maintained where possible.
The construction site will be fenced off and closed to the public.

Key elements of the project include:
- Removal of existing large concrete pipes
- Relocating a gas line
- Re-alignment and rock armouring of constructed creek bank
- Constructing a maintenance access track
- Installing a new three-cell box culvert
