The rapid growth of Bankstown CBD, driven by major commercial and transport developments (such as Western Sydney University, Sydney Metro and Bankstown Central shopping centre), means that our existing stormwater network needed to be upgraded.

We have created a draft play space concept design incorporating new equipment and seating for visitors of all ages and abilities to enjoy.

A new pump and jump track in Milperra will provide a mix of features catering to all ages and riding experiences, revitalising the site for community recreation.

We are excited to announce upcoming improvement works at Austin Reserve as part of a major playground upgrade project. 

Sydney Water will be installing a new wastewater main from Redman Parade adjacent to Belmore Sports Ground.

We’re upgrading the site to create a unique destination play space and recreation area for the community.

Lambeth Reserve Play Space is being upgraded to a 'Destination Play Space' in line with Council’s Playgrounds and Play Spaces Strategic Plan. 

We're upgrading the stormwater network to reduce the risk of flooding in the area.

Works include asphalt removal and replacement.

While the upgrade is taking place, you can find your nearest playground at Beaumont Park Playground, Kingsgrove.
